Your responsibilities

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Project Leader to join our team. The Finance Project Leader will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of financial IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering measurable results.

  • Manage transformation projects in finance IT systems or SAP ERP landscapes, including functional changes in finance, business controlling, margining, accounting, treasury, and liquidity
  • Lead changes in agile methodologies for finance systems like SAP systems, ERP systems, S/4HANA finance, reporting and consolidation systems, treasury management applications, Wallstreet system, Opengamma, TIS, AIFexpert, VAT@GTC
  • Lead IT internal projects within the finance area such as system consolidation, carve-out, merger, data migration, reorganization, data cleansing, harmonization, and retention
  • Analyze processes and systems, design and implement solutions for the migration, separation, or merging of data in SAP systems
  • Optimize finance processes thru projects end-to-end, such as Finance-to-Manage processes
  • Lead the operational management and coordination of entire project processes
  • Coordinate and prioritize project requirements in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage all departments involved in the project, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
 

 

Your profile


  • Degree in (business) informatics, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of finance processes and principles
  • Proficiency and 5-10 years proven experience in SAP systems, ERP systems, and related technologies, such as S/4HANA finance, reporting and consolidation systems, treasury management applications TIS(SAAS) , Wallstreet system, Opengamma, TIS, AIFexpert, VAT@GTC
  • Project management expertise, including the ability to drive business projects to successful completion
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process optimization initiatives
  • Experience in managing IT landscapes during M&A, divestment, and carve-out processes is a plus
  • Professional experience in the field of project coordination and project management with classic or agile methods, ideally in the Utilities environment, margining, liquidity management
  • High ability to work in a team and communicate as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • Three or more years of practical experience as an SAP (sub-)project manager/program manager in SAP projects or even in the areas of SAP Transitions and Conversions
  • Strong affinity for IT and 5-10 years of experience in IT and with SAP
  • Extensive knowledge in Finance, Controlling, and Treasury focus areas
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
