Your responsibilities

(Strategic) Portfolio Management: 

• Support the development of yearly Innovation agenda (innovations work programme for the next year) 
• Analyse the portfolio of projects and activities in various stages to ensure alignment with as well as meeting strategic objectives 
• Calibrate portfolio against corporate strategy & boundary conditions 
• Analyze portfolio based on strategic insights  
• Identify portfolio white spots in alignment with Innovation and corporate functions 

Performance Management & Reporting: 

• Provide function-wide performance management support, leveraging KPIs and dashboards 
• Conduct and facilitate performance management meetings to drive continuous improvement 
• Ensure project data accuracy and improve tracking of milestones / hypothesis to ensure performance discussions on project / portfolio level 
• Deliver department input for corporate reports  
• Develop & steer the annual Innovation Agenda (formal approval process of innovation activities / targets) together with the Innovation Areas  
• Support external reporting process (e.g. sustainability reporting, non-financial statements) 

Budget Planning & Management: 

• Management of the budget planning and tracking for the innovation function including forecast / planning processes 
• Responsible for the overarching budget framework & connected planning tools  
• Counterpart for Innovation projects in Budget topics  

Operations Excellence & Process Management: 

• Further optimize the Innovation function target operating model, our tools for reporting, portfolio & project management 
• Review and update our Innovation Process in cooperation with governance function

Your profile

• Master's degree in economics, science, engineering or comparable 
• Relevant experience in performance, reporting and portfolio management, ideally in energy and/or innovation related fields 
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate corporate goals and project performance into Portfolio actions  
• Experience in performance management, utilizing KPIs and dashboards to thrive performance culture  
• Strong PowerPoint Visualization and Storytelling capabilities 
• Relevant Experience in Microsoft PowerBI & Excel 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary environments  
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
