The role of Uniper's Energy Asset Management department is to continuously improve the operational performance of our assets including process safety, risk management, maintenance, condition and reliability analysis and information security. The team will also be accountable for our strategic supplier landscape. Energy Asset Management will work directly with the Asset Transformation team to ensure that our new assets meet the requirements for operational readiness to deliver a best-in-class physical asset management framework for Uniper's assets. Your responsibilities

 

  • Act as a central point of contact for strategic partners and suppliers of services to operational assets 
  • Actively engage with our growth engine to identify suppliers of new technology equipment and to identify strategic suppliers for operations of new build assets, specifically new GTs, hydrogen, renewables, energy storage and biofuels working alongside and with Asset Integration.
  • Provide supplier quality services including technical specification requirements for contracts, supplier inspections and certification and hold-point inspections for material supply
  • Support and manage input for LTSA agreements for Energy Assets working closely with the responsible Procurement teams
  • Responsible for Supplier Performance Management including HSSE Performance, Quality, Sustainability and Security
  • Responsibility for ensuring high-value and low-cost 
  • Support and drive the Lead Engine program with our OEM suppliers to deliver the maximum value for our assets 
  • Analysis of Energy Assets feedback for medium-sized and strategic suppliers
  • Work closely with Quality teams in Asset Services and with the operational technologies
 

 

Your profile


  • Relevant university degree in economics, engineering or science  
  • Sound experience in power plants or other major asset driven/engineering type of companies 
  • Project management capability to prioritize and plan complex implementation of actions across a range of locations and resources 
  • A focus on communication and cooperation skills 
  • Structured working methods and  the ability to manage teams with high  technical capability 
  • Desire to inspire multiple teams providing vision and strategy for delivery of the key tasks to secure our assets
  • Fluent English skills
