Business Development Manager - Solar and Wind (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
- Deliver profitable partnerships and acquire utility-scale solar and wind portfolios.
- Originate relationships and close partnerships with developers, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Support and lead investment cases and negotiations to acquire projects from origination to ready-to-build status.
- Monitor regulatory and technical developments, delivering reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Present business cases to management to secure approvals for acquisitions and partnerships.
- Represent Uniper to external partners and contribute to market strategy development for long-term project pipelines.
Your profile
Essential:
- Familiarity with the regulatory framework and permitting processes in Italy including local, regional, and national regulations.
- Expertise in utility-scale project development, including permitting and interconnection processes for solar and wind projects.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of closing business contracts.
- Project management expertise, including attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to lead by influence and manage diverse teams across non-hierarchical structures.
- Proficiency in financial tools and creating profitable business models.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage effectively in an international setting.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities.
- Fluency in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus)

- Strong interpersonal skills to represent the business positively with stakeholders.
- Resilient, solution-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, economics, or law.
- Willingness to travel and work within a diverse, multicultural team.
