Your responsibilities

 

As an Integrity Engineer you will be working within the Integrity & Quality Management department, in the Integrity Group in the Netherlands. You will contribute to the continuity of reliable and safe assets by ordering necessary inspections and advising local internal clients and (local) management about the integrity of the assets. Your personal commitment and technical talent will increase the efficiency and maintain business integrity.

 

Summary
•    Provide technical support and advice to clients in the area of boiler & pressure systems design and integrity.
•    Participate with the lead Integrity Engineer/ Manager Integrity engineering to ensure the department is ISO9001 and IVG certified
•    Coordinates boiler & pressure systems plant failure investigations.
•    Manages the coordination of all activities regarding obtaining approval in order to meet company and government standards.
•    Acts as an intermediary between licensing authorities, relevant departments and external companies and institutes.
•    Is responsible, under supervision of the NL/CBI, for executed inspections (unjust approval or disapproval and following consequences).
•    Carry out activities associated within our Integrity Group, Inspection Department of the User (IvG) 
•    Produce high quality formal technical reports, emails and presentations.

 

 

Your profile


•    Completed Bachelor degree with additional IKT 2 or 3 and qualification or experience leading to.
•    5 Years proven experience in an inspection and welding function or comparable.
•    Familiarity with relevant pressure part design standards, industry guidance and legislation, e.g., WBDA, WRDA, PED, EN 12952, EN 13480, ASME BPVC, etc
•    Familiarity with degradation mechanisms relevant to power plant boilers & pressure systems.
•    Familiarity with power plant design and operating principles and with site inspection, particularly in the areas of fired boilers, heat recovery steam generators and associated piping systems.
•    Knowledge of any related disciplines such as welding, NDT, DT, cycle chemistry and quality control.
•    Strong communication & interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
•    A high technical standard of written and spoken English and Dutch, including report writing
