Your responsibilities

• Management of a multidisciplinary, international team (currently 9 employees) in the areas of Scheduling, QA/QC Management, Site & Completion Management and Commissioning Management (disciplinary and technical).
• Strategic resource planning and discipline related staffing of projects, considering the current project pipeline
• Coaching, training and individual development of employees by obtaining and implementing feedback as well as sharpening their profile through state-of-the-art tracking
• Developing and refining Uniper Project Management Instructions (PMEF) and task related work instructions/ process descriptions by active search for optimization potential in project execution and relevant processes
• Supporting the further development of the Project Support (PS) department and its representation within and outside the Uniper Group, e.g. by participating in company and project committees, promoting the interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and supporting the implementation of lessons-learned workshops
• Interface between the projects and the resources provided by the Technical Project Support team, reporting directly to the Head of the Project Support department

Your profile

• University or technical college degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, etc.) or project management with a technical focus
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the energy sector, as well as initial experience in managing/guiding employees an advantage
• Strong project management skills and a sound understanding of the complex interaction of different technical disciplines within project organizations
• Solid knowledge of project management tools and systems (e.g. PMI, IPMA, Prince 2, etc.)
• Solid experience in dealing with standard scheduling software (e.g. MS Projects, Primavera P6, etc.) as well as in the areas of quality control/quality assurance, site and commissioning management
• High level of assertiveness and communication skills in an international environment as well as strong conceptual and analytical skills for the precise presentation of complex topics
• High degree of integrity and reliability as well as appreciation of cultural differences
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad as well as fluency in German and English
