Your responsibilities

 

The scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the project schedule based on the project's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). He checks that deadlines are met and updates the schedule based on the progress of the project.

The tasks of the Senior Scheduler include, among others:

  • Scheduling for plant engineering projects
  • Creating and tracking schedules, taking into account all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning)
  • Review, coordination, optimisation, monitoring and benchmarking of internal and external schedules as well as detailed construction schedules (e.g. construction companies, etc.)
  • Progress monitoring, reporting and identification of schedule risks (e.g. with Primavera Risk Analysis) as well as preview of project milestones and the development of corrective measures (analyses, critical path, MTA, degrees of completion, earned value analyses, etc.)
  • Support function
    • in the management of external schedulers
    • for the bid team in the preparation of bid schedules
    • for the project management in planning order processing and order management to meet deadlines, progress and hourly targets
  • Interface coordination between external partners and internal specialist departments
 

 

Your profile


  • Successfully completed university studies in the field of engineering or industrial engineering 
  • Extensive professional experience in scheduling and monitoring in plant construction
  • Experience in operational project management in plant construction
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office applications MS Project as well as Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk Analysis
  • Ability to work independently and systematically, flexibility and mobility
  • Very good communication skills and a confident manner with internal and external partners
  • Willingness to travel in a national and international project environment Unipers
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
