Your responsibilities

• Technical development of energy supply projects for industrial customers and Uniper
• Technical supervision of owner's engineering of new construction projects and plant modifications 
• Concept, basic and front-end engineering, including (supervision of) the preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, mass & heat balances, process simulation and process descriptions, maximising plant safety, minimising the environmental impact of the plant to ensure commercial success
• Definition and tendering of engineering services to be provided by external providers and supervision of external engineers
• Technical management of concept studies for carbon-neutral generation systems for (process) heat and electricity
• Supporting the realisation of concept studies at Uniper sites or those of our industrial customers

Your profile

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, chemical, process or environmental engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in the energy sector
• Experience in a project-orientated working environment
• Willingness to take on leadership and responsibility in the field of process design
• Enjoy working in a team with engineers from other disciplines and process engineering specialists
• Ability to think creatively and unconventionally
• Fluent in English and German
