Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of developing proof-of-concept (PoC) websites by transforming business and functional requirements into interactive, testable web prototypes
• Translate UI/UX design mockups into responsive, high-quality web interfaces using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or similar frameworks
• Support backend integration through REST APIs or GraphQL and handle basic data operations using tools like Firebase, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborate via platforms like GitHub or Azure DevOps for structured code reviews and issue tracking
• Identify, report, and resolve bugs throughout the development lifecycle to ensure robust and stable PoC delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on feedback and progressively enhance PoCs into scalable production-ready web applications

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Uniper is part of Sweden´s vital societal functions and critical infrastructure which is why this position may be subject to wartime placement. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.

Your profile

• Currently enrolled for at least two years as a student at a university studying Web Development, Computer Science, Media Informatics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Basic experience with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python) and database handling (e.g., SQL, MongoDB)
• Strong willingness to learn and to develop
• A strong eye for design, attention to detail, and interest in UX/UI principles
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus
