Working Student Data Analytics in Internal Audit (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

 

  • You will help implement Internal Audit's Data Strategy as part of a project team 
  • You help us to embed Data Science based techniques and statistical models to our Internal Audit Data Analytics 
  • You will build programmable dashboards, analyse huge chunks of data, apply statistical techniques to datasets to derive insights on the business 
  • You will help us in exploring new methods of auditing using data science techniques 
  • You will be working with the internal audit colleagues as part of our commercial audits to identify and implement use cases, e.g. for risk assessment, pattern analysis and sample testing 
  • Engage in Uniper's Data Community and foster cross-team cooperation
 

 

Your profile


  • Pursuing Masters degree in a quantitative field like Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics 
  • Experience in using data analytics and data science techniques in internal audit or a similar role, ideally in the space of Energy trading 
  • Proficient in a programming language (e.g. Python, R, JavaScript) and a Database Management System (e.g. SQL) 
  • You are experienced with data visualization using Dash or Shiny. 
  • You enjoy working with people and technology, are open and empathetic towards others 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. You can present and explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues. And grasp the business context as a basis for your data solution.  
  • We are an international company with a global reach. We expect fluent English. German language skills are a plus.
