Your responsibilities

• Support the creation and enhancement of Market Analysis’ dashboards and the data analytics tasks
• Research and analyze market data to understand different aspects of the market (e.g. supply, demand, pipelines, storage etc.) and reveal areas for improvement
• Process and structure market data to ensure seamless integration into reporting tools
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement automated data pipelines for efficient dashboard updates
• Support the development of end-user reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders at Uniper
• Assist the Market Analysis team in refining and presenting visualizations to support decision-making processes

Your profile

• Quantitative background and degree (e.g. mathematics, engineering, economics) with excellent interim results
• Technical knowledge:  Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) is required, knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python or R) is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities, strong interest in using quantitative methods to solve problems and provide insights
• Knowledge of energy markets, especially natural gas and LNG, and fundamental market economics in general would be advantageous
• Team player with a high degree of self-motivation with ability to present and describe findings and results comprehensibly
• Proficient knowledge of the English language
