Your responsibilities

During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
You will start in New Green Power and Gas for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your career development path and interests across the organization – you design your own placement plan and receive support from your own mentor
You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects
You will contribute to and learn from our trainee community, receive trainings and development opportunities
In your predefined home unit New Green Power and Gas you can choose between two divisions. In the engineering division you will work on developing and implementing new technologies and solutions. In the Strategy & Performance division you will work on digitalisation initiatives to enhance project and team performance. In addition you get the opportunity to learn how funding can improve project business cases.

Please indicate which team you prefer: We are looking for a trainee in New Green Power & Gas – Strategy & Performance and a Trainee in New Green Power & Gas - Engineering.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in engineering, business administration, economics or similar fields
First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences
Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, taking the initiative and proactivity while working in various teams
Communication skills and the aim and skills to network among different stakeholders
English language skills are required, German is a plus

In addition to some predefined stations, you can flexibly combine other departments that you would like to pass through and work in an international environment with team members from over 80 countries. Based in Germany, the program gives you a deep insight into our day-to-day business and helps you to explore your personal strengths. You will also have the opportunity to bring in and enhance your interpersonal and teamwork skills. Individual mentoring and a buddy from day one will ensure you have the best possible foundation for the next step in your career at Uniper. We are fortunate that, on average, more than 95 % of all trainees remain with our team after their program and take on an appropriate follow-up position.
