Your responsibilities
For the integrated Power Scheduling operations Team we are looking for an operations Engineer joining the integrated DeV/Ops Team for critical Power Scheduling Applications
- Work as Operations Engineer in an integrated international team and be responsible for the operation of cloud based Applications for critical Applications
- Be responsible for the continuous improvement of the operations of the Application landscape and aligning 3rd Party Vendors, internal and external Teams
- Use modern tools for operational monitoring and further optimize the operation of the cloud instances
- Identifies operational problems by observing and studying the functioning and performance of systems
- Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, procedures and processes to be followed from the internal and external Team
- Responsible to root cause analysis Incidents and work with the integrated Dev Team to implement the learnings in the Application
- Applies incident, problem, change, knowledge, access, release and deployment management in day-to-day work, and contributes to their improvement
Your profile
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in similar roles like Application Management, Operations Analyst, Operations Engineer
- Experienced with cloud (e.g. Azure) based application operations and cloud based environments
- Experienced with steering of internal / external Service Providers and staff
- Broad & deep knowledge of end-to-end IT application support process, solid operational experience in application support/issue/Incident handling
- Knowledge of IT operations incl. ITIL
- Excellent analytical skills to create holistic understanding of a problem end-to-end
- Logical thinker, able to own, investigate and resolve problems and incidents issues, resourceful and creative with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and within an agile team in combination with the strong desire to accept responsibility
- Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills with the ability to present complex topics targeted to the audience
- Experience with products from Volue, Kisters, ION, PSI is a plus
