Your responsibilities

 

The Dispatch Platform & Operations department in Uniper IT oversees all IT system changes supporting Uniper’s short-term dispatch process. The team consists of Delivery Leads, Project Manager, Business and System Analysts driving business-critical transformational changes and continuous improvements for Power and Gas.
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead to coordinate multiple initiatives, continuous improvement activities, and system enhancements.

 

1. Delivery Assurance

  • Drive delivery of initiatives using agile or classical methodologies tailored to individual tasks
  • Ensure full transparency across the lifecycle of each initiative
  • Manage diverse teams including internal and external business analysts, system analysts, developers, and testers
  • Coordinate closely with IT teams, vendors, system integration consultants, and other partners

 

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor, balancing business process understanding with IT solution capabilities
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes

 

3. End-to-End Responsibility

  • Own and maintain a comprehensive roadmap of all activities driving forward continuous improvement and strategic transformation
  • Ensure consistent, integrated solutions with smooth transitions into operational use
  • Manage the entire change lifecycle, from budget planning and team organization to execution and closure

 

4. Methodological Excellence

  • Identify best practices and implement new tools and technologies
  • Develop and refine delivery methodologies to enhance performance and outcomes
  • Apply data-driven decision-making to optimize delivery processes and resource allocation
  • Implement risk management strategies to assess and mitigate potential challenges

 

5. Knowledge Sharing and Team Collaboration

  • Actively promote knowledge sharing and skill-building within the team
  • Foster team collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Encourage an open, communicative environment that supports learning and growth
 

 

Your profile


  • Academic degree or equivalent professional qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Hands-on experience in a Project Management role with direct involvement in large-scale IT implementations
  • Certification as a Project Manager (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2) and/or in delivery-focused agile roles like Scrum Master or Product Owner (SAFe, Scrum) is an advantage
  • Experience in Energy Trading, particularly in Logistics (Power and Gas), Dispatch, SCADA, Scheduling, or Nomination, is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, coupled with a strong desire to take on responsibility
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, high organizational skills, and IT affinity, with the ability to present complex topics in a manner suitable for the audience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
