Your responsibilities

• Deliver Front Office performance and operational excellence in the field of quantitative algorithmic trading & continuous power asset portfolio re-optimization
• Maintain responsibilities for the daily delivery of a solid and compliant commercial performance across Uniper European markets:
  • Continuous Intraday trading, both asset-backed and proprietary
  • aFRR and mFRR energy bidding out of the Uniper asset portfolio in Europe
  • Leading role in Renewables Short-term exposure management
• Ensure smooth operational coordination with the other Short-term trading desks and European Dispatching centers
• Project role in developing and continuously improving the Power physical quantitative trading at Uniper
• Shift role

Your profile

• Experience in trading functions, especially around Intraday asset-backed or prop physical trading
• Experience of Algorithmic trading and Renewables, flexible asset optimization
• Understanding of short-term market channels and Compliance and Regulatory rules
• Excellent analytical skills and High accurate and detail-oriented
• True team player driven by challenge and passion to deliver value and results in changing environment
• Algorithmic Programming experience, especially in Python would be a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English, speaking German, Swedish or Dutch is a plus
• Ability to work predominantly in Düsseldorf office
