Your responsibilities

 

Role Context: Acts as Technilogy Lead & Product Owner within a SAFe Agile Release Train, driving SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) strategy, roadmap, and secure operations.

  • Own and evolve the SAP BTP platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations; prioritize backlog items and support SAFe PI planning and ceremonies while driving adoption of new SAP innovations.

  • Define, enforce, and operate the BTP governance and security model, including onboarding, lifecycle management, subaccount and space management, IAM (IAS/IPS, Entra ID), RBAC and segregation of duties, audit readiness, IT control compliance, patching, vulnerability management, certificates, and secure connectivity.

  • Ensure reliable and secure platform operations by monitoring platform health and availability, troubleshooting integration flows, managing incidents and SLAs, implementing monitoring and alerting via SAP Cloud ALM, and performing regular performance tuning and optimization.

  • Enable integration, automation, and development on BTP by supporting SAP Cloud Integration and API management, managing CI/CD pipelines, cTMS, GitHub repositories, Workzone roles, deployment automation, Fiori/UI5 troubleshooting, workflow management, and adoption of low-code/no-code tools.

  • Act as the primary interface between business owners, development teams, and platform engineering, providing transparency on delivery progress and risks, promoting DevOps and agile practices, and continuously identifying opportunities for platform enhancement and cost optimization.

 
 

 

Your profile


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes and business processes.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in SAP BTP services and development, including Integration Suite, Work Zone, HANA Cloud, Build Process Automation, AI Core, CAP and RAP models, and programming with JavaScript/Node.js, SAPUI5, and ABAP Cloud.

  • Strong experience with cloud-native development and operations on SAP BTP, particularly Cloud Foundry environments, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, SAP cTMS, SAP Business Application Studio, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.

  • Solid knowledge of security, governance, and compliance, including SAP IAS/IPS, Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, identity federation, encryption, monitoring and audit tools (SAP Cloud ALM, Audit Log Service), and secure connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector and certificates.

  • Proven experience working in SAFe Agile environments, including backlog prioritization, PI planning, DevOps practices, automation, and clean core principles.

  • Ability to act as a Product Owner and technology lead, driving platform vision and roadmap while balancing technical feasibility and business priorities.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with experience leading SAFe ceremonies, fostering cross-functional collaboration, troubleshooting complex integration and security issues, and continuously learning emerging SAP technologies such as AI, automation, and event-driven architectures.

  • Strong English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage.
