Your responsibilities

• Exploring new and emerging technologies and business ideas (e.g. BESS, Co-Grid, etc.)
  • Help in understanding all relevant aspects (finance, regulation, etc.)
  • Develop and apply tools and models that enable commercial quantification and evaluation
• Conducting techno-economic assessments for new technologies or modified configurations of wind, solar and solar power plants (BESS, H2, etc.) Hybrid systems
• Support of all relevant functions within Uniper Renewables in continuous improvement with a focus on the implementation of digital systems and modern technologies
• Actively promoting a safe work culture
• Report to the Technology and Innovation Team Leader on the scope, finances, timeline, and HSSEQ of assigned projects and tasks

Your profile

• You are enthusiastic about renewable energies and the energy transition
• You have a university master's degree or equivalent in engineering, industrial engineering, technology management or similar; Doctorate advantageous
• You have a broad technical and economic understanding of renewable energy technologies and the associated business models
• You have experience in the commercial and technical analysis of RES+BESS business models
• You have experience in international projects and are willing to travel internationally
• You have the ability to proactively identify and implement ideas to increase profitability
• You have the ability to analyze and dissect complex tasks
• You have the ability to communicate fluently in English and German, while other language skills are valued
• You are professional in dealing with MS Office (especially Excel, Power Bi, Power Point)
• You are able to work independently and in a team
• You are able to work on and prioritize multiple projects
• You understand the needs of the stakeholders you are dealing with
• You are able to inspire others to work outside of their known fields
• You are open-minded, have a good sense of humor and appreciate cultural differences
• You take care of your own holistic well-being and expect the same from your colleagues
