Your responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical expertise and support in the areas of asset management and reliability engineering
  • Own asset reliability process: process implementation in power plants and delivery of the digital tool
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve  the reliability of Uniper's assets
  • Conduct thorough analysis of asset performance data to identify trends as well as areas for improvement utilizing tools such as Pareto and the bad actor analysis based on historical operational data
  • Support power plants to run root cause analysis (RCA) to address recurring issues and prevent failures
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) of fleet technical performance related to asset health, reliability, and efficiency recommending the most suitable ones in each case and working across teams to identify reasons for outlying performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset health, reliability, and efficiency, and provide regular reports
  • Facilitate asset reliability community. Collaborate with sites engineers to develop and execute reliability improvement plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency
 

 

Your profile


  • Relevant university degree in engineering, or science
  • Proven experience in asset reliability maintenance optimization, or performance engineering in a heavy industry, manufacturing, or energy sector
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and strategic skills essential. Ability to interpret complex data and present it in clear and logical format
  • Strong project management skills, high initiative, ability to get things done
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL and Power BI would be an advantage
  • Understanding and experience of working with operational KPI
  • Experience in working with advanced data analytics tools like Seeq would be a plus
  • Inclusive and open mindset; willingness to work in an international and diverse team which appreciates diversity and fosters inclusion and constructive feedback
  • Willingness to undertake international travel
  • Business fluency in English. Other languages advantage
