Your responsibilities

• As a Valuation Expert, your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining financial models, including a comprehensive group-wide model. You will also be responsible for preparing company valuations using various valuation methods tailored to different valuation contexts and scenarios
• Analysing key corporate financial figures and performance, including the preparation of action-oriented decision papers for the Management Board as part of medium and long-term planning and against the background of the corporate strategy design
• Support with M&A projects (buy-side and sell-side) including analysing the impact on the company's key financial figures
• Support in the coordination and implementation of IFRS asset and goodwill impairment tests as well as the HFA10 valuation of investments
• Preparation of special analyses and ad-hoc requests

Your profile

• University degree in business / finance with specialisation in business valuation, finance and / or accounting
• At least three years of professional experience in finance, advisory (e.g. Big Four) or M&A
• Sound knowledge of methods and processes of business valuation, M&A and financial modelling - High level of self-organisation, commitment, self-motivation, energy, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure and achieve challenging goals
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
