Your responsibilities

 

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team in Düsseldorf. You will be part of the centre of competence within Uniper Renewables for the financial modelling and valuation, and participate in evaluating various project development, investment and asset rotation opportunities.
 

  • Develop, build and maintain financial models, valuation tools and methods for renewable energy projects, mainly industrial scale solar, wind and batteries
  • Evaluate and assess potential investment opportunities and partnerships, participate in due diligence processes, and prepare valuation reports
  • Analyse the financial performance, cash flows, returns, and risks of the projects, and prepare and present investment recommendations and reports to senior management in close collaboration with the project development teams
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to support the origination, development and execution of renewable energy projects
  • Monitor and assess the performance and risk of the existing pipeline and provide insights and recommendations
     
 

 

Your profile


  • University degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or comparable field 
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in investment analysis, corporate finance or controlling 
  • Strong financial modelling skills and experience of building and maintaining DCF models 
  • Excellent skills in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate results with internal and external stakeholders and create comprehensive management presentations
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English, additional languages as a bonus
  • Appreciation for cultural differences
