Your responsibilities

 

This position presents a unique opportunity for an innovative technical expert to become part of the Cloud Engineering & CCoE team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless monitoring and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly focusing on Azure, and possess a passion for AI-driven solutions.

 

  • Monitor and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
  • Develop and implement AI-driven monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
  • Deliver a monitoring capability to the CCoE
  • Develop and maintain monitoring workbooks, dashboards and reports to ensure transparency & end-to-end visibility
  • Ensure that monitoring solutions meet security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Continuously assess and improve the security posture of the solutions implemented
  • Optimize costs by monitoring usage and implementing cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet organizational goals
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and tools to enhance the organization's capabilities
  • Operate with in an Agile DevOps structure
  • Participate in trainings and development opportunities to continuously improve cloud engineering skills
  • Build and maintain personal networks within the industry to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies
 

 

Your profile


The technology focus will be, but not limited to azure monitor, log analytics workspace, KQL, logic app, azure PowerShell, azure managed Prometheus, Grafana, metrics & log alerts, azure activity and diagnostic logs, and various insights. Knowledge of PowerBI from reporting perspective and ServiceNow from an interfacing perspective would be very advantageous.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cloud monitoring and optimization
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform & Bicep
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions
  • Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies is highly desirable
  • Strong appetite for new and innovative technologies that can be used to analyse, optimize, and automate cloud operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, presenting to peers, and building personal networks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are advantageous
