Your responsibilities

 

Position Overview: We seek a seasoned professional in License Management to be a part of our team. The ideal individual will possess a robust background in license processes and the capacity to concurrently navigate multiple topics. Strategic insight, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and a drive for achieving outcomes in a fast-paced setting are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holistically support all aspects of software license management at Uniper
  • Take ownership of license management processes and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
  • Manage and steer all internal and external license audits to identify discrepancies or non-compliance issues and take appropriate corrective/defending actions at a senior level
  • Manage multiple topics concurrently, including but not limited to software asset management, contract negotiations, vendor relationships and vendor audits
  • Further Develop and implement strategies to optimize license usage, reduce costs, and mitigate compliance risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align license management initiatives with business objectives
  • Successfully navigate complex negotiations
  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts in a sustainable and constructive manner
  • Facilitate effective communication and integration among senior stakeholders across the Uniper group
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in license management
 

 

Your profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in license management or a similar role, with a proven track record of (Program) leadership and results
  • Strong management background with the ability to effectively manage multiple topics in parallel
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and implement process improvements
  • Proficiency in license management tools and software, with knowledge of the NOW Platform from ServiceNow being a plus
  • Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand contractual documents in both languages
