Your responsibilities

• Act as a business partner and counterparty to Uniper’s Power Function by providing commercial business support in order to drive performance
• Provide analysis on the implications of environmental changes (e.g. commodity prices, market conditions, regulation) on performance, assess threats and weaknesses and initiate countermeasures
• Manage overall processes for creating, analysing and commenting on monthly & quarterly reports, forecasts and mid-term planning
• Give recommendations for decision making via critically appraising projects, investments and contracts as well as portfolio reviews, performance measurement, business model & KPI setup
• Engage into cross-functional projects to further enhance the existing system landscape
• Support continues improvement of reporting processes and tools
• Further develop and enhance interfaces to Financial Controlling, Accounting, Risk and Data Management teams

Your profile

• Education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant controlling expertise and/or understanding of the energy trading business
• Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
• Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment; high personal responsibility and tolerance to stress
• Knowledge of relevant IT-systems (e.g. BI-Tools, SQL based Data base systems)
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
