Your responsibilities
- Drive a coordinated approach at all levels to performance monitoring and review, including audit
- Develop and implement management systems that deliver effective compliance with all relevant legal obligations and Uniper standards
- Develop and implement leading and lagging KPIs required to monitor and report on HSEperformance at all levels
- Manage the program for HSE audit at all levels, including Internal Audit and management of Certification Bodies
- Oversee the process for ensuring learning points from incidents are identified, actioned and shared across the whole Uniper business
- Develop robust partnerships with senior leaders and their teams to develop a pragmatic approach to management system implementation
- Provide leadership and coaching on the implementation of management systems
- Provide support for incident investigation, which may include Formal Panels of Enquiry
- Act as supportive member of the Uniper HSSE+S Team, participate in team activities, and play a strong role in to ensure best practice is shared and common issues are addressed
Your profile
- Proven track record in the development and operation of HSE Management Systems
- A minimum professional qualification of NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ6 or equivalent
- Attained or clearly working towards Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner (CMIOSH) status, via continuing professional development (CDP) program as stipulated by IOSH
- Demonstrate suitable knowledge and experience
- Expertise in risk management and assessment, and a thorough understanding of the application of risk mitigation/control
- Expertise in incident investigation techniques
- A detailed understanding of safety, health and environment legislation and standards relevant to the Power Industry and Contract Partners
- Act as lead auditors for the business via a coaching style with relevant qualifications
- Excellent project management and planning skills, with ability to self-manage and meet committed deadlines
- Highly developed people management skills with the ability to drive performance and motivate colleagues at all levels, on an individual and team basis
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels
- An innovative approach, providing quality solutions to problems and challenging established thinking
- Highly skilled administration, analysis and report writing skills.
