Hydrogen Manager - Project Commercialisation & Partnering

A very exciting opportunity to participate in the pioneering hydrogen market. At the heart of the hydrogen team, the Project Commercialisation & Partnering team is in charge of developing strategic business partnerships with the aim to form powerful alliances. We provide strong commercial excellence by taking lead role in the negotiation of partnership and other commercial contracts, e.g. JVAs, MoUs, JDAs, HSPAs, etc.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Support the regional business development teams by providing strong commercial excellence throughout the project development phase by taking a lead role in the negotiation of partnership agreements and other commercial contracts, e.g. JVAs, MoUs, JDAs, etc;
  • Development strategic business partnerships with the aim to form powerful company alliances and to add new asset growth projects to Uniper’s hydrogen project portfolio;
  • Support the development of value driven business models for Uniper’s hydrogen asset projects in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Nordics and other international markets;
  • Ensure transfer of commercial learnings, methods and best practice across Uniper’s hydrogen project pipeline and across Uniper’s core markets;
  • Actively drive Uniper’s hydrogen strategy implementation process by identifying and analysing new business development leads along the value chains of PtX, PtL, blue hydrogen and gas splitting in and outside of Uniper’s strategic core markets (NL, UK, SWE, GER);
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities as well as conduct peer reviews in the field of hydrogen;
  • Lead and coordinate the proposal management for international hydrogen tenders.
 

 

Your profile


  Essential

  • Good negotiation skills and strong experience in structuring business models;
  • Demonstrable experience in a commercial management role in the power and gas sector with focus on large capex asset projects and major commercial contracts, e.g. gas supply agreement, power purchase agreements, joint development agreements, JV agreements, etc.
  • University degree in relevant studies, e.g. business administration, law, finance or related discipline;
  • Experience in working in international teams and dealing with complex multi-company business development activities;
  • Professional command of English;
  • Distinct team player skills with ability to integrate in diverse cultures and to cope with fast-changing business environment;
  • Top-class stakeholder management skills;
  • Drive, energy and determination to deliver against challenging targets;
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking combined with the ability to prioritize from a holistic view;
  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of energy market trends, relevant customer strategy and requirements;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Personal credibility, excellent team-working skills, ability to build strong working relationships across the Uniper Group.


Desirable:

  •  Another language of a Uniper core country (e.g. German, Dutch, Swedish) beneficial but not essential
