Your work as Manager Sales Strategy (m/f/d) contributes directly to our mission! You will set up and steer the sales strategy process, including the analysis energy sales macro and local market trends and draw the potentials for Uniper to constantly expand our portfolio together with the other sales units and well as later on push for the strategy implementation

Your tasks:
- Creation of the sales strategy toolkit (timelines, tools and templates)
- You will screen the current market trends, competitors value propositions and customer energy management strategies
- Together with Sales Experts and other relevant departments within Uniper organization, you will develop engagement metrics for sales strategy and identify opportunities to improve and enhance products as well as address deficiencies
- At workshops, you are a strategic consultant at eye level even with senior management
- With the focus of strengthening long term partnerships with major customers you will appropriately challenge the sales business units proposals and propose creative ways to address them
- You are (partly) responsible for the conception and implementation of strategic sales projects, e.g. development of innovative sales approaches
- Through your analyses and recommendations for action, you actively shape what is happening in the sales organization, e.g. potential analyses and negotiation preparation
- You are well networked within the organization and work closely with different business units, e.g. sales experts, pricing, marketing, product development
Your profile
What you bring to the table
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a consulting environment, ideally in the field of energy, strategy, sales, data or business development
- With your customer-centric way of working and creative solutions, you can address problems and inspire colleagues and customers
- You have excellent comprehension and good analytical skills, which allow you to quickly penetrate complex issues like the ability to model profitability and cash flow implications of business cases
- You already have experience with customer and senior stakeholders presentations and enjoy conducting interactive workshops
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, round off your profile
