What we are looking for

  • Report to CWE team manager to deliver Front Office performance and operational excellence
  • Optimize all market channels for the Central and Western European (CWE) power portfolio and add value trading Day-ahead down to real-time 
  • Have a special focus on the link to the Nordic portfolio, support to set up and continued
  • Interface with dispatch centres to understand operational issues in compliance with REMIT regulation
  • Interface to other European markets like Nordic, Eastern Europe and the UK
  • Market Ancillary service products on TSO markets
  • Leverage Market Channel Optimization approach to ensure optimal use of the assets
  • Contribute to improve the business processes within the team and the interfaces with other departments of the Uniper business
  • Continuously improve and develop tools and processes in line with latest market developments and Uniper strategies and contribute to the  transition into automation
  • Support the programming and implementation of successful Algo-trading strategies
  • Take part in weekend and bank holiday work (shift role - Daytime)



Who we are seeking

  • Relevant technical or economic degree or similar qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of European Power Trading and Ancillary Services products and markets
  • IT/ data analysis affinity
  • Advanced programming skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of German power market would be a plus
  • Inner drive and enthusiasm
  • Strong commercial orientation
  • High self-confidence and effectiveness in communication
  • High level of commitment and a strong will to cooperate in the team environment
  • Own initiative, ability to analytical thinking
  • True team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German or Swedish would be a plus
