Technical Project Development Undergraduate

Your responsibilities

 

  • Be an active member of a team of engineers and project managers during an exciting 48–52-week placement, starting in September 2025, where you will play a key role in advancing impactful projects.
  • Work alongside a team driving the development of new green assets for Uniper’s portfolio, ensuring security of supply and advancing the energy transition. This placement offers a unique opportunity to engage with the technical requirements of our UK energy projects.
  • Gain hands-on experience in project management methodologies while enhancing your technical and engineering expertise across a variety of disciplines.
  • Build a strong foundation for addressing challenges in technical project development and engineering innovation, paving the way for a successful career in the energy industry.
 

 

Your profile


  Essential

  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft tools such as Teams, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with others in a fast-paced project development team.
  • Currently studying an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline for the energy industry, including but not limited to engineering, science, energy management, etc.
  • A basic knowledge of technical concepts and engineering principles related to power generation and low carbon technology.
  • Ability to commute to or be located close to our base in Nottingham
  • A Driving License is required


Desirable:

  • Willingness to take initiative and seek opportunities, taking on challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Awareness of trends in the renewable energy sector, sustainability and power generation infrastructure projects.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites and offices around the UK and Germany as required.
  • Understanding of fundamentals of power generation and low carbon technology.
