Your responsibilities
Assist the Data Management team with accurate, timely and relevant information for all of Uniper’s reportable activities pertaining to
portfolio positions, performance and risks and back up other team members as necessary with daily reporting tasks
Look for opportunities for improving existing and developing new reports via data analytics, data visualization, PowerBI, Python
Assist with ETRM corrections, maintenance and upkeep
Cross train with other Support Functions to understand all of Uniper’s business and daily activities
Find opportunities for enhancements with our current processes
Your profile
Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program in the areas of Business Administration/ Economics/Finance, Business
Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science (or comparable field).
Proficient knowledge in Office Products, VBA, SQL and BI-tools required (PowerBI, Python preferred)
Work experience in and knowledge of energy trading is not required, though some knowledge of Natural Gas and Environmental
Products is preferred
Work experience in reporting, commodity trading and working with trading systems such as CXL, or, in particular, Endur would be
an advantage
Strong analytical mind-set & experience in understanding, improving, and developing analytical tools to support
portfolio movement analysis
Strong team player with demonstrated experience of working in an international team.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Please note: This is a paid opportunity based in Houston, which will require at least 3 days per week of in-office work, on a full-time basis from approximately May through August 2025, with possibility for an extension into the fall. Relocation and housing support are not available for this role, and local candidates are highly preferred.
