Your responsibilities
Reconcile and settle weekly/monthly gas, pipeline, transport, prepay, REC and Helium invoices (payables and receivables)
Process payments and reconcile bank statements for receipt of monthly payments
Perform daily compliance checks for data quality and ICS controls
Ensure daily exchange trades are reconciled to FCM and exchange statements
Monitor and report End of Day OTC Trader Responses for KPI tracking
Assist with audit prep and support
Own vendor management process for contract renewals/terminations, new services, new hire onboarding/offboarding and record keeping
in MDSL.
Support digitalization project efforts for Commercial Operations (process improvements and/or implementation of new systems)
Support global Uniper business initiatives and projects
Back up team on daily trade confirmations for natural gas, RECs, and carbon.
Back up team with daily margin calls (exchange and OTC) as needed
Your profile
Undergraduate degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, or related field
0-3 years of working in an energy trading organization in a finance or operations role
Knowledge of physical/financial gas and environmental products
Experience with ION Trade Systems (Endur and/or CXL)
Good communication and organizational skills
Customer Service - the role serves a number of customers and working proactively to relay information and meet customer needs is a key driver of business success
Problem Solving – the business relies on numbers and identifying problems and rectifying them is critical to the success of the business and the individual
