Your responsibilities

Delivery of timely and accurate analysis in response to fast-changing market dynamics

Creation of regular fundamental reports around markets and assets to support trading decisions

Development of pipeline balancing models to estimate and forecast gas flows

Development of regional supply & demand balances

Collaborate with Uniper colleagues covering global markets to refine long-term views

Manage requests from multiple internal stakeholders and prioritize workflow according to business needs

Establish & maintain high standards of professionalism and quantitative rigor

Your profile

Degree in quantitative field or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of experience in North American gas markets, preferably in a commercial environment

Experience with gas pipeline nomination data

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to create detailed, accurate, and defensible models

Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required

Proficiency with SQL & Python or other programming language desirable

Knowledge of other energy commodities (liquids, power, clean fuels, etc.) a plus

Strong oral and written communication skills required

Should be a self-starter, adaptive and versatile, able to work effectively in a team setting

Able to prioritize tasks based on potential commercial impacts under aggressive deadlines

Willingness to work a schedule based on market hours
