Procurement Manager (f/m/d)

 You will be part of the Procurement Management team in Hannover which focusses on ensuring best value-for-money procurement and maximizing business and project value for our day-to-day business operations. The diverse procurement team comprises 140 professionals from 28 different nationalities, spanning across four countries: the UK, Germany, Netherlands, and Sweden. Together, they manage an annual spend of 1.5 billion euros, strategically sourcing products and services across various categories.

Your responsibilities

• You will have overall sourcing responsibility for specific tender strategies
• Actively manage business stakeholders across all Uniper operations, locally and internationally
• Have close collaboration with the other Procurement functions, Business Solutions, Performance & Culture, and Digitalisation teams
• Perform day to day tasks in the relevant systems & tools; SAP, SAP Ariba (and Ivalua e-Sourcing)
• Actively manage Uniper suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies
• Manage Contracts & Claims where required
• Openness to regularly commute to the Düsseldorf office for collaborative interactions

Your profile

• ​​​​​​Excellent education in economics or similar field
• Several years of experience in Procurement, it would be a plus in the Energy Industry
• Experience in using SAP, SAP Ariba and relevant platforms (i.e. eVergabe) would be a plus
• Highh intrinsic motivation with self driven working style  
• Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, their conflicting requirements & cross-functional overlaps
• Ideally experience in working in an international environment
• Working proficiency in English, German Communication skills (minimum C1) for German Office required, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
