Your responsibilities

 

  • Conceptualization, planning, execution, and/or commissioning as well as evaluation of radiological measurements and clearance measurements on radioactive residues and waste 
  • Execution and/or commissioning of activity calculations for radioactive residues and waste as well as for disposal containers
  • Execution and/or commissioning of dose rate calculations for dismantling and disposal projects 
  • Documentation and quality assurance of measurements and calculations
  • Support in the development of technical concepts for the disposal of radioactive waste 
  • Support in the preparation of loading plans for disposal containers
  • Support in the tendering process for projects
  • Support for project management in questions of radiological characterization and radiation protection
  • Consultancy and support for national and international customers 
 

 

Your profile


  • Completed university degree in physics or engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in conducting radiological measurements or clearance measurements as well as their evaluation, documentation and quality assurance
  • Experience in performing activity calculations, e.g. for radioactive waste
  • Experience in performing dose rate calculations with e.g. MicroShield
  • Basic knowledge of nuclear and radiation protection law, in particular the release of radioactive residues and waste
  • An affinity for numbers and a meticulous approach to work as well as enjoyment of complex documentation 
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself independently with new topics
  • Entrepreneurial and solution-orientated approach, customer focus, ability to work in a team, initiative, flexibility, confident manner
  • Good IT skills (MS Office)
  • Good written and spoken German and English (min. B2) 
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally 
  • Class B driver's license
