Your responsibilities
As part of the Project-Management Team you are the Technical Projekt Manager of our Growth Projects:
- Technical lead of international Growth-Projects in the Power- and Energy-Industry across all phases of the project, i.e. with focus on project execution until the handover to a client/operation
- Support of development of international Growth-Projects with regard to technical and commercial aspects
- Ensure project tasks with regard to HSE, costs, time and quality
- Lead heterogeneous multi-national project teams with all engineering disciplines during project development and execution phase
- Technical steer of Owner’s Engineer contracts for the execution phase of projects
- Technical steer of contractors/suppliers regarding technical design and technical project execution – as well as for EPC-contracts as multi-lot-contracts
- Strong support in scheduling and permit management for our Growth-Projects
- Support and steering of documentation management
- Living the Uniper way of project management system (PMEF)
- Report to the General Project-Manager and to steering committees
- Ensure extraction, documentation and transfer of lessons learned between projects
- Very good communicator, incl. coordination of all relevant interfaces, stakeholder, sponsors, leading and support functions within Uniper, authorities, JVs
Your profile
- University degree in engineering or equivalent
- Several years of experience in project management, preferably with certified qualification (PMI et.al.)
- Several years of experience in execution of the power or oil & gas industry projects as technical project manager
- Proven experience in claim and contract management
- Strong safety, health & environment orientation, preferably with a certified safety qualification
- Knowledge in directive regulations (e.g. pressure directive), DIN EN CE-conformity, process for “putting units into the markets”…
- Highly flexible and internationally mobile
- Excellent leadership and social skills
- Entrepreneurship, strong decision-making with cost to benefit optimization, ability for team motivation
- Excellent project management skills, structured way of working to reach project milestones
- Fluent in English and German
