Your task

 

  • You will develop a deep understanding of the energy markets that Uniper is active in, employing state-of the art tools and methods to track, analyze and forecast the market developments.
  • You will also learn about Uniper's business, its value drivers and corporate environment.
  • You will collaborate with experts from many different fields and nationalities, bring in your ideas and work on your own projects in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • During the program, you will have working placements in various areas of Uniper’s business besides Market Analytics which will be your home base. Examples include Trading,  Asset Optimization, Global Origination, Sales, Risk Management, etc.
 

 

Your profile


  • Completed studies degree in the field of engineering, economics, business administration, mathematics, computer science or similar.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills and at least a basic understanding of the energy markets
  • Very good programming skills (Python, R, VBA, etc.) and experience in working with databases and handling of large amounts of data.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills with a strong team player skillset as well as good ability to work independently and under time pressure.
  • Relevant internships and/or working student placements.
  • Intercultural experience is crucial, experience abroad is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

We are fortunate that, on average, more than 95 % of all trainees remain with our team after their program and take on an appropriate follow-up position.
