Your responsibilities
- During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will start in Energy Assets for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your personal career development path and interests across the organization – you design your personal placement plan and receive support from your own mentor
- You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects
- You will contribute to and learn from our trainee community, receive trainings and development opportunities
- In your predefined home unit Energy Asset Management/Operational Performance department, you will support operational data management and ensure accurate reporting; gain exposure to cost and performance benchmarking across our asset portfolio; actively contribute to the Performance Improvement Programme.
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in social sciences, business administration, (electrical, mechanical, industrial) engineering or similar, ideally with a focus on the energy business
- First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences
- Basic understanding of energy asset economics and performance KPIs
- Well-developed communication and networking skills, combined with strong analytical and reasoning abilities
- Interest in data-driven decision-making and continuous performance improvement
- High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
- Openness to feedback and a growth-oriented mindset
- English language skills are required, German is a plus
