Your responsibilities

 

For our Short Term Trading Solutions team in Düsseldorf we are looking for you! You would like to get some experience in interesting Projects in the Energy Business? Looking for gaining experience in Project Management? You are happy to work closely with Project Managers but also taking up deliverables?

Then join us in the Short Term Trading and Dispatch Solutions team in Uniper IT, which is responsible for all changes in the IT landscape for Unipers Short Term Trading Business.

 

  • Act as a Business Analyst assistant in mid and large Projects
  • Support the Project Manager in status reporting
  • Support in creating Project documentation and quality assurance 
  • Create Process descriptions (e.g. Swim lane, data flow etc. )
  • Support Test preparation, Test execution and documentation
  • Ownership of deliverables within a Workstream

Your profile


Education and Expertise:

  • Student in business informatics, technical informatics, computer science, or another discipline with a focus on energy or project management
  • Knowledge of process analysis (including process design)
  • Experience in the energy and/or trading business is a plus but not required


Analytical and Technical Skills:

  • Analytical skills and interest in analytical tools like Power BI is a plus but not required
  • Capability in the area of low-code programming via Power Apps and all kinds of SharePoint
  • Specific technical skills or knowledge in relevant software tools or programming languages (if applicable)


Soft Skills:

  • Confident, self-motivated, proactive, delivery-focused, and able to think outside the box
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Data analysis and soft skills (active listening, problem-solving, self-motivation, and teamwork)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments
  • Flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to new challenges and changes


Work Environment:

  • Able to work in a virtual environment using collaboration technology like O365, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, MsDevOps
