Your responsibilities

 

  • Actively Initiate, Plan and Execute projects using different methodologies to ensure on time and on budget delivery
  • Manage plan, quality, scope and costs of delivery projects, providing full transparency throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Steer external project and service delivery vendor teams to maximize their contribution to projects
  • Prepare and track task plans for diverse teams of internal and external business analysts, system analysts, developers and testers
  • Work together with Business stakeholders  and identify appropriate solutions by applying PM methodologies to ensure timely and full delivery of customer requirements
  • Closely align and collaborate with IT Architecture and Service Management functions
  • Collaborate closely with delivery programs/projects that require ETRM delivery, keep track of and actively manage dependencies
  • Identify, assess, resolve and accurately report on project and delivery risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Actively manage communications, reporting and overall project relationship to project, program and delivery stakeholders
  • Engage actively in Uniper’s project management community to promote project management and IT delivery best practices ensuring effective and efficient delivery of projects
  • Ensure realization of Project  & Business benefits
  • Drive & foster delivery excellence and continuous improvement activities across project delivery
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships throughout the IT organization and with business users and other stakeholders at different levels
  • Ensure overall consistency of solutions and smooth transition into operations
  • Actively promote knowledge sharing and build-up of internal IT expertise and skills
 

 

Your profile


  • Energy or Commodity trading background is a prerequisite
  • Academic degree or equivalent professional qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience in Project Management
  • Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity
  • Hands on experience in a Project Management role, with direct involvement in medium/large size IT implementation projects
  • Experience in Trade Lifecycle (Trading systems like Endur ) is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in combination with the willingness to accept responsibility
  • Ability to steer & facilitate complex business meetings & workshops
  • Ability to present complex dependent topics in a clear and structured manner
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Team player, able to work with different types of personalities and disciplines, to contribute to the overall team’s success, to motivate others to take on initiatives and ensure that actions deliver results
  • Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers
  • Emotional resilience, assertiveness, ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
