Your responsibilities

For the integrated Power Scheduling operations Team we are looking for a  Business Analyst strongly interlinked to the Business and IT aspects of the Power Business. 

• Work within a team to deliver robust and reliable solutions supporting the Short Term Trading Processes across multiple Systems
• Elicit, understand, own and document business requirements of requested changes (CRs), and expand these into functional requirements and BAU elements
• Capture requirements, derive necessary specification and oversee the implementation in the IT Applications
• Support and being responsible for implementing and maintaining value adding solutions as well as testing and documentation to fulfil all internal and external quality requirements 
• Process design of a digital process and subsequent implementation together with the Team in the selected technology stack
• Active participation in architecture, data design and review of the applications landscape, focus on reusable and scalable solutions
• Passionate about continuous improvement in the entire Business Process landscape to move to an automated set-up
• Be eager to connect business process specific knowledge with the corresponding process implementation in the application and vice versa.
• Be part of the Dev/Ops structured Team as key Business Analyst

Your profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in similar roles as Business Analyst with technical focus with a strong Business focus
• Excellent analytical skills to create holistic understanding of a problem end-to-end
• Proficient in business analysis methods such as requirements elicitation, user stories, process modeling, functional decomposition, root cause analysis, solution evaluation etc. – BA certification is a plus
• Experience in an Agile way of working
• Experience in Trading, Short Term Trading, Commodity bidding and Logistics, Dispatch, Scheduling, Nomination is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and within an agile team in combination with the strong desire to accept responsibility
• Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills with the ability to present complex topics targeted to the audience
• Fit in collaboration tools primarily MS Azure, MS DevOps, Power BI, MS Teams, Sharepoint, O365, MS Flow etc.
• Technically savvy in following technologies:
  • Microsoft Azure Stack
  • Power BI for Reporting
  • Scripting languages like VBA
