Our Uniper "Renewables" Division is responsible to develop Uniper's Renewables portfolio. Our aim is to develop a multi-GW pipeline of renewables projects, predominantly in Europe. We develop greenfield and accelerate growth by potential acquisitions. We consider the Uniper Renewables business unit to be one of the most important pillars of our new strategy. What we are looking for

  • Develop utility scale solar projects in Poland
  • Cover the full development cycle from origination to RTB or FC stage
  • Manage external contract developers and service providers, for project development and origination.
  • Manage business relationships with land owners, permitting authorities, grid operators, regulators, offtakers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise closely with existing Uniper business teams (asset teams, trading / PPAs, finance, others) and enabling functions
  • Build strong relationships with the development team, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake managers as well as a network of external development partners
  • Reports to the Head of Solar Project Development

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • Several years of work experience experience in Solar PV development in Poland
  • Degree (Master or Diploma) in electrical engineering or comparable Direction of specialisation in engineering, alternativly studies in business administration, economics or law  
  • Proven track record of utility scale solar project development
  • Profound understanding of relevant market dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills and high level assertiveness and communication skills in an international environment and the ability to build effective relationship at all levels
  • Appreciation for cultural differences
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English and Polish, additional languages will be a plus
