Site Development Manager - Germany (f/m/d)

For our Growth Business Area "Site Transformation" within the Green Power & Heat (GP&H) division as one of the most important pillars for the execution of the new Uniper strategy we are looking for Site Development Managers. Your responsibilities

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of a “site vision” which is defining the transformation of today’s Uniper’s sites combining existing assets with new opportunities
  • Shape the agenda for a specific location and coordinate all site relevant initial development activities by considering innovative business / operating models and creating entrepreneurial spirit
  • Drive especially enabling infrastructure projects (up to FD) enhancing the site and allowing Uniper’s growth projects to thrive by using the synergies and benefits of integrated site ingredients (e.g. H2 grid connections, water supply, power grid connections, zoning plan amendments)
  • Prepare high quality decision proposals and present them to relevant management functions up to the BoM
  • Lead or actively participate Project Committees and take ownership for governance of site development setting
  • Liaise tightly with the Site Integration Managers from Energy Assets and Growth Project Managers from the New Green Power & Gas areas as well as Demolition & Rehabilitation Mangers
  • Manage the stakeholder relations in alignment with Uniper´s communication department
  • Foster cross-country knowledge sharing and drive standardization of site development activities e.g. via lessons learned. Continuously question and improve our approach
     
 

 

Your profile


  • University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering, business administration, physics
  • Minimum of 5 years of in-depth expertise and proven track record in actively developing and managing large projects, preferably related to power generation, infrastructure or heavy industry
  • Certified project management skills
  • Experienced in leading international teams and complex multi-company business development activities
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and strategic thinking combined with the ability to prioritize from a holistic view
  • Strong personal credibility up to successful Board presentations, excellent team-working skills, ability to build strong working relationships across the Uniper Group, strong stakeholder management skills
  • Creative and open-minded individual with fresh mindset, ability to think out of the box and excellent communication skills
  • Professional command of local language and English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial)
  • Willingness to show strong local presence at respective site location
