Your responsibilities

 

  • Preparation of payroll accounting in accordance with statutory, collective agreement or company regulations

  • Maintenance of personnel data in the HR master data system and time and absence management

  • Administration of personal and contract-related data (if necessary, checking the self-service system (ESS) for accounting relevance)

  • Determination and settlement of allowances and deductions, as well as calculation and maintenance of sickness, transitional and injury benefits, maternity benefits, etc.

  • Preparation of remuneration-related certificates, including the fulfilment of statutory information, certification and reporting obligations to authorities and other administrative bodies
    Carrying out annual year-end activities (statutory requirements)

  • Administration and calculation of garnishments, advances, monetary benefits, direct commitments (BAV) and direct insurance policies

  • Timely data preparation & administration, assessment & accounting of various additional benefits (e.g. company car, electricity allowance, investment plan, car/bike leasing) for active employees

  • Assistance with the implementation of monthly audits as part of the internal control system and quality management

  • Advising employees by telephone and e-mail on all HR topics, including processing any resulting orders

  • Documentation of incoming enquiries and orders via an order management system for quality assurance and audit compliance

 

 

Your profile


  • Completed commercial training – ideally further training as a payroll clerk
  • Comprehensive knowledge and several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
  • In-depth expertise in income tax, social security, travel expenses and labour law
  • Careful, independent and responsible way of working as well as solution-oriented thinking
  • Strong service, quality and customer orientation paired with good communication skills
  • Analytical skills with an affinity for numbers and accuracy
  • Initiative and innovation, flexibility and teamwork
  • Commitment and motivation to shape and improve your own area of work
  • Ability to structure your work and prioritise tasks sensibly when the workload is high
  • Ability to learn and strive for continuous professional development – knowledge transfer within the team
  • Confident use of EC / SAP HCM, MS Office and the order management system
  • Very good language skills in German and English
