What we are looking for

  • Preparation and execution of acquisitions of early-stage development projects and disposals of 0.5-1 GW plus p.a. of renewables projects or portfolios
  • Manage internal project team as well as external advisors to resolve project issues and risks and ensure project success
  • Support evaluation of concepts and negotiations of partnership structures with investors for optimized monetization of developed projects or with lending banks for optimized construction financing
  • Management of joint ventures, partnership structures and acquired companies
  • Optimal cooperation within the Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, project, contract and offtake managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
  • Reports to the Vice President Asset Rotation & Partnering at Uniper

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or comparable studies
  • Extensive relevant work experience in either commercial renewables, corporate M&A, corporate finance or comparable commercial roles
  • Deep understanding of the renewable energy market, with a focus on regulatory remuneration schemes as well as market commercialization of utility scale wind and solar-PV
  • Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
  • High mobility/willingness to travel internationally
  • Business fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
