Drive regional digital transformation within Germany GT Fleet and represent GT Fleet in group-wide digitalization projects. Initiate digital cultural change and foster digital mindset within Uniper.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Develop and continuously adjust vision and targets for the digital transformation of the relevant regional GT operations business 
  • Support the adoption of existing digital solutions in all relevant GT sites 
  • Support respective GT Fleet teams in identifying areas for digital solutions and converting digital ideas to potential reality considering the cost-benefit ratio 
  • Align the target setting (Plant Improvement Plants, site Big Rocks) in order to involve all sites and avoid duplications 
  • Help to find solutions for time conflicts between digital product development and outage management 
  • Coach central GT Fleet colleagues and sites to develop their own transformation solutions and train employees on new tools and methods 
  • Support IT and OT/asset operation community to “grow” together 
  • Encourage innovative thinking and digital ideation 
  • Analyze technical processes and derive digital optimization potential in close cooperation with local experts 
  • Actively support (hands-on) and coordinate digitalization initiatives (e.g. process automation, digital operation/maintenance, data analytics and visualization, digital customer experience, etc.) 
  • Represent regional GT Fleet in digitalization projects within Uniper group, contribute to corporate digitalization projects and be interface to COODE Organization 
  • Create awareness of the digital opportunities available in COODE Program portfolio, facilitate contact and to the COODE delivery team and exchange best practices 
  • Build up internal and cross company networks, participate actively in relevant communities to scout innovative digital trends and new business models 
  • Drive cultural change by introducing New Ways of Working and promote share culture, agile working frameworks and train employees on new digital tools and methods 
  • Support digital competency development, especially the development of product owners 
  • Organize the internal communication of digitalization projects & activities 
 

 

Your profile


Essential 

  • Practical work experience in relevant functions and business areas such as Power Station Operations & Maintenance  
  • Proven project management experience including the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope 
  • Self-motivated and passionate about digital innovation with a high degree of personal responsibility / initiative, creativity, willingness to change and innovate 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills combined with excellent communication skills and ability to inspire employees to digital ways of working 
  • Highly respected, trusted and dynamic “people person” with an ability to build strong relationships  
  • Good understanding of digital technologies, trends and their fields of application  
  • Good technical understanding of Plant operations 
  • Fluent in English & German 

 

Desirable 

  • Experience with implementing digital initiatives in specific roles, groups or business units  
  • Experienced with agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum, Lean, etc.)
