Your responsibilities

• Originate and develop international biomass sourcing and trading opportunities for Uniper’s customers and projects .
• Develop and execute global sourcing and trading partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong global network of biomass suppliers, consumers, freight and logistics partners and service providers
• Provide strategic, analytical and  commercial support to Uniper’s projects and partnerships
• Utilize and further develop all necessary trading tools, limits, reporting and position and risk management tools
• Formulate and execute a detailed annual international biomass business development plan as part of the overall Uniper biomass strategy. 
• Produce clear reports on market developments, deal and partnership opportunities, price forecasts and risks
• Support teams on international biomass related  topics and requirements and cooperate with relevant departments and consultants in and outside Uniper
• Work with the stakeholder teams to support Government-, NGO- and other stakeholder-discussions.
• Represent Uniper in (inter)national biomass forums and industry events

Your profile

• Commercial business and relationship skills
• Confident communicator and the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
• Affinity with physical and financial commodity transactions
• Analytical and financial experience with financial statements, credit ratings, risk metrics
• Planning and organising skills including effective prioritising, resource management and a long term strategic focus
• The ideal candidate has experiencein the field of biomass and or sustainable fuels and systems
