Your responsibilities

The Uniper Renewables team is responsible for the development of the Group's wind and solar business, which is an important pillar of Uniper's strategy. With a strong team of experienced and dedicated employees, we develop projects with a variety of partners across Europe.

The newly-created Business Excellence team is within the Strategy and Business Development department of Uniper Renewables and focuses on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation.

The Communications and Marketing Intern is responsible for developing and implementing plans and systems to support the effective collection and dissemination of information across the Renewables organization.  The role includes assessing current communications mechanisms (e.g. presentations, intranet articles, in-person events, digital platforms, e-mail, etc.) and identifying opportunities for reinforcement and enhancement.  This role also supports the development of creative marketing content and customized programs to increase awareness and effectiveness. The primary responsibilities include:

• Map and diagram communications structures
• Conduct objective analyses and assessments of current mechanisms and effectiveness
• Develop and propose multi-dimensional communications plans and content
• Research and investigate new opportunities for innovative, technical solutions
• Collaborate and contribute to marketing programs and creative operations
• Build a foundational understanding of the Uniper organization and Renewables industry

Your profile

• Undergraduate or graduate student
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with groups and influence without authority
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills and attentiveness to detail
• Microsoft Office skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Teams); other communications tools are a plus
• Business level English; other European languages (e.g. German, Italian, French) are a plus
• Genuine interest in the energy and/or Renewables industries
• Positive energy, collaborative team spirit, and an appreciation and respect for diversity
