What we are looking for
- Support business case creation, challenge and review with all involved cross function teams, participate actively in the decision approval board and project steering committees
- Become a partner for the IT to make transparent the financial impact of commercial decisions and projects: Validation of financial implications of business initiatives and IT projects before, during and after project phase being an active support for cross-functional alignment and decision-making
- Consolidated financial project planning including set-up and coordination of respective processes with Portfolio Office and Business controlling including front-to-end review of planning and steering process for project financials
- Plan and actuals performance analyses of projects, identification of deviations and development of mitigation proposals including support of quarterly and yearly closing processes
- Review and plan project cost impact on Uniper P&L e.g. IT additional operational cost. Implement benefit tracking process to allow regular business case checks
- Review and propose improvement of our management reporting with focus on financial steering and project monitoring in PowerBI, e.g. profitability analysis, actuals self-reporting
- Take responsibility of initiatives in our project controlling improvement plan
Who we are seeking
- Educational background preferably to degree level in IT or business administration
- Ideally with 1-3 years experience in project controlling or project management role
- High level of self-organization, commitment, personal drive, energy, flexibility
- Strong and positive attitude towards change and transformation: Initiating change, providing new ideas and driving implementation
- Experience in methods and processes for commercial steering, especially project commercial steering (e.g. planning and reporting, financial KPI analysis)
- Experience in IT processes, IT business steering and affinity to trends and developments in the IT area
- Excellent Excel skills
- Familiarity with SAP FI/CO, Service Now, PowerBI and Power apps
