What we are looking for

  • Planning, reporting and forecasting of Uniper KPIs of legal units (monthly forecasting, closing activities, cost and sales planning) up to segment level Admin/Other, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow 
  • Execution of central cost planning, forecasting and reporting processes and function as key account for selected Uniper L-1 and L-2 managers on cost related issues
  • Supporting the business in controlling related issues as well as interface to other colleagues from finance and business controlling
  • Active participation and support in performance projects and ad-hoc requests from the Board of Management/Corporate Controlling
  • Continuous improvement and definition of uniform standards for cost controlling to increase transparency and cost awareness

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • Relevant academic background in economics, finance, business administration or equivalent
  • Proven knowledge in a controlling/finance field, preferably with knowledge in the energy sector
  • Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow accounting, planning and reporting (IFRS/HGB)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, financial tools required
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format to facilitate decision making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a cross-functional environment including with partially virtual teams in changing environments
  • High level of self-organization, commitment, personal dedication, energy, flexibility and ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging goals
  • Fluent English and German required
