Your responsibilities

 

  • Develop and enhance optimization models for Uniper's energy assets (power stations, heat grids, energy storage, renewables etc.).
  • Run models with multiple technical scenarios and market price sensitivities to describe Uniper’s option space and the different possible outcomes.
  • Maintain and update models to reflect changing market and asset conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses on Uniper and third-party assets within Uniper's core markets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for investments decisions and strategy projects based on model outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance asset modeling and links to related processes.
 

 

Your profile


  • PhD or Master's degree in Energy Asset Modelling, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in energy asset optimization and modelling in academia and/or industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in optimization and simulation software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex modelling results into actionable strategies.
  • Track record of working collaboratively based on trust and openness.
