Our Sales Strategy & Projects Team in Düsseldorf is looking for you! Your work as (Senior) Strategy Consultant Energy Markets (m/f/d) contributes directly to our mission!   Our role offers you the perfect chance to combine project management expertise with deep strategy work from a close interaction with relevant sales functions:  You will set up and steer the sales strategy process, including insights from internal experts in sales and product management as well as analysis of macro and local energy market trends. This will help you propose new growth opportunities for Uniper constantly and expand our portfolio. As execution is king, you will lead the subsequent strategy implementation.

Your responsibilities



  • You provide creative approaches to shape the sales strategy together with senior management, competitor’s value propositions and customer energy management strategies 

  • You shape our strategic product roadmap with responsible units, sales experts and frontline sales and align it with other strategic functions in Uniper  

  • Based on your analyses and recommendations for action, you actively shape what is happening in the sales organization, e.g. growth potentials and negotiation preparation 

  • You will build up a large network within the organization and work closely with different business units, e.g. sales experts, pricing, marketing and product development 


Project Management 

  • You are responsible for the concept and implementation of strategic sales projects including tracking of actions and defined KPI in daily business as PMO 

  • At workshops, you are a consultant at eye level with senior management. 

  • You create and provide templates and tools for strategy implementation (toolkit) 

  • You take responsibility for communication concepts and their execution to the wider sales audience 



Your profile

  • You have a university degree in a field like business administration, economics, engineering or information systems 
  • You have several years of experience in a consulting function or business development 

  • You know the German energy market from a corporate or consulting perspective 

  • With your customer-centric way of working and creative solutions

  • You have excellent analytical skills, which allow you to quickly penetrate complex issues and the ability to model profitability and create business cases 

  • You have a proactive communication style and experience with senior stakeholder 

  • Presentations and you enjoy conducting interactive workshops

  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
